This show will be up September 8 through October 4, 2008
Opening Night will be Friday, September 12, 2008 from 6-10pm

Red Tree is actively looking for fresh new and exciting art. We would love to consider your work to display in our beautiful well lit space. Our art gallery and specialty shop in Oakley is in a high traffic area just off Madison Road.

Theme
A Small Glimpse: life from the perspective of artists all over the world
Total size of artwork (including any frames) may not exceed 5″x 5″.

Eligibility
Artist must be 18 or older and may be living anywhere in the world. We will consider work in oil, acrylics, mixed media, pastel, watercolor, drawings, graphics, photography, sculpture, as well as a limited number of installations or conceptual pieces. All artwork must have been created in the last year and not have been exhibited previously at Red Tree Gallery. Work must be completely dry and ready to install.

Submissions
A non-refundable fee of $20 for 1-3 pieces or $35 for 4-9 pieces must be submitted with artwork. Make checks payable to Redtree.

Hand Delivered artwork and entry forms may be done at any of the scheduled times:

Saturday, August 30, 2008 from 8am-6pm
Sunday, August 31, 2008 from 10am-3pm
Monday, September 1, 2008 from 8am-6pm

Mailed artwork and entry forms must be received by September 1, 2008 (NO EXCEPTIONS)

Mailed artwork must include an envelope/container for return shipping, with postage and mailing labels included.
Container must be adequate for return shipping.

Notification
Artists will be notified of jury results by mail or email (please make sure this is printed clearly on your form. If you do not have email we will send a letter) no later than Thursday, September 4, 2008. Hand delivered artwork not selected may be picked up Friday, September 5th or Saturday September 6th anytime between 8am-6pm. Mailed work not accepted will be returned the following week.

Awards
Over $1000 of awards plus merchandise and ribbons will be given out to selected artists ( you do not need to be present to win)

Liability
Each work is insured to a reasonable amount while on Red Tree premises only. Artists are responsible for insuring work while in transit. Artist are also responsible for providing work that is sturdy and durable for necessary hanging purposes.

Photography
Red Tree reserves the right to photograph works for publicity and record.
Entering your art work in the competition shall indicate agreement with all of these terms and conditions.
